About Us / FAQs
Our team spends countless hours creating, finding and sourcing the best/highest quality products and building relationships so we can go from the factory to direct to you. This allows us to save you money and time because we do the hard part; making sure everything is quality! We want you to rest assured that every single thing we sell is personally vetted by a member of our team through first-hand wear and stress-testing. If we haven't touched it / worn it / loved it ... we won't sell it.
Also, we aren't Amazon (although we wouldn't be mad to be) so some of our products have longer than 2-day shipping times as a result of us sourcing directly from the factory. We know, we know - you want your product ASAP but some things are worth the wait, we promise.
FAQs
Is shipping free?
Yes on US orders of $100 or more. Under $100, US shipping starts at $4.90 and is calculated at checkout. International rates are calculated at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order pieces (printed when you order them) take 2–5 business days to produce before they ship. Once shipped, most US orders arrive within a week, and we rarely see delivery go beyond 10 business days. Every order includes tracking. 🗓
Is there tracking?
Yes. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. If it seems to be taking a long time, email us at customerservice@whatsthemove.com with your order number and we'll follow up. 🗺
Why is the sizing on the label different from what I ordered?
Some items we provide are shipped directly from international suppliers with different definitions/measurements for sizes. An XL is not always the same in China or India as it is in the US.
As mentioned, if we haven't touched it / worn it / loved it ... we won't sell it. When we source a product, we may sometimes resize it in our description to you to translate that product to US sizing expectations. So, what you see on our site for size is what you should trust but when you receive your purchase it may be labeled differently. Try it on and you'll find it should fit how you expected to from the product's description. 🤝
How do I reach you?

Exchanges & Store Credit
We want you to love what you ordered. If the fit or color isn't right, you have 14 days from delivery to request an exchange or store credit.
What's covered
- Wrong size or color: exchange for another size or color of the same item, or take the full value as store credit to use on anything in the shop.
- Damaged, defective, or wrong item: we replace it at no cost to you. Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo and we'll make it right.
To be eligible
Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and in the original packaging. Email customerservice@whatsthemove.com with your order number and what you'd like to exchange it for. We'll reply with instructions and the return address. Items sent back without contacting us first can't be accepted.
Final sale
Sale items, custom or personalized items, and made-to-order pieces are final sale and can't be exchanged unless they arrive damaged or incorrect. Product pages say when an item is made to order.
Return shipping
For exchanges due to fit or preference, you cover the cost of shipping the item back to us; we cover shipping the replacement to you. For damaged or incorrect items we cover everything.
Refunds
Because most of our pieces are sourced or printed to order, we don't offer refunds to the original payment method for change-of-mind returns. Store credit never expires. If we can't replace a damaged or incorrect item, we'll refund you in full to your original payment method within 10 business days of confirming the issue.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order ships to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and in the original packaging.
